Volunteering is a fantastic way to support the Crowsnest Museum and get involved with local heritage. 

Our volunteer team is constantly supporting us with special events, organizing collections, education programs, and more!

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Indigenous Market Set up & Take Down

Looking for volunteers to help us with the set up and takedown of tents, chairs, and tables for our Indigenous Arts & Crafts Market.

DATE: July 1st, 2024

TIMES: 9:00AM - 10:30 & 5:00PM - 6:30PM


Have you ever wanted to drive a rumrunning car before? Now is your chance! We are looking for 6 drivers to drive** our historic rumrunning cars in this year's Coleman Canada Day Parade.

DATE: July 1st, 2024

TIME: 9:00AM - 12:00PM

**Must be at least 18 years old to drive

Indigenous Market Support

Want to help at the market? We're looking for people to assist our vendors and guests with general market support. This can look like watching a vendor's booth, answering guest questions on the events of the day, and other supporting tasks.

DATE: July 1st, 2024

TIME RANGE: 10:00AM - 5:00PM **

**Any help during this time frame is appreciated!

Discovery Days Event Support

As a part of the Heritage Days weekend, the Crowsnest Museum will be holding a family friendly event to help kids to discover more about the area. We are looking for general event support ranging from set up and tear down to assistance in running some of the stations.

DATES: August 3rd & August 4th 

TIME RANGE: 9:00AM - 6:00PM**
