Artifact Collection
The Collections Department based at the Crowsnest Museum & Archives manages an extensive collection of artifacts and archival material from all three Heritage Crowsnest locations (The Crowsnest Museum, the A.P.P. Barracks, and the Bellevue Underground Mine). These artifacts help to preserve and tell the natural and cultural history of the Crowsnest Pass.
Currently, the Department's archival holdings include newspapers, church records, mining information, maps, blueprints, and much more. At this time the collection (both artifact and archival) is only accessible by appointment within the Museum.
The holdings of the Crowsnest Museum, A.P.P. Barracks, and Bellevue Underground Mine are collected through many generous donations.
